L’association des Amis du National Museum of Women in the Arts are delighted invite you to a soirée to mark International Women’s day, on the theme Women in the Arts, is this your Century? which will take place at:
the Fondation Hippocrène, 12 rue Mallet Stevens, 75016 Paris, on March 12th at 6:30 pm
Program
• Welcome and Introduction
• Roundtable moderated by Laurence Aubron founder and CEO of Euradio, first European radio, with the five artists nominated for Women to Watch 2020* and curators Mélanie Matranga and Nathalie Herschdorfer director and curator of the Museum of Modern Art of Le Locle in Switzerland .
• Presentation of the results of a survey undertaken by les Amis du NMWA in January and February 2020 with women artists, curators and gallerists, on the obstacles faced by women artists, what they need to obtain better visibility in general and especially in museums and institutions and what kind of actions, support and communication we can offer.
• Auction of works donated by our Women to Watch artists. The Auction will be orchestrated by auctioneer Florence Baron.
• Cocktail and discussion

All proceeds will go towards the association les amis du NMWA to support us in our mission of supporting women artists and the NMWA.
